Introduction to Web Literature review

A review of literature on the application of engineered options to manage groundwater levels in dryland and non-dryland areas was undertaken. The review covered over 300 abstracts obtained by a library search of engineering and agricultural databases and input from salinity managers throughout Australia. The review has identified the key engineering options and provided a description, examples of success and some of the key factors in the implementation. A separate section is prepared for each of the key techniques.
