The Catchment Classification project will produce the following products:
A basin-wide wall map of the different groundwater flow systems controlling salinity.
Regional scale maps of Groundwater Flow Systems for management purposes.
A report discussing the advantages and limitations of the catchment classification approach.
Detailed case study reports for different catchments across the Murray-Darling Basin.
A salt and water balance model for estimating the impacts of land use change on stream salinity, salt load and water yield.
